How to integrate HubSpot with Tofu

Connect your HubSpot account to import lists, sync contacts, and export Tofu content seamlessly.

Permissions & Details

Tofu will create new fields ONLY on the contact and/or company properties.
Tofu may create new lists if you would like to transform a contact list into a company list.

The following permissions are requested by the Tofu app by default. However, the level of access granted can be constrained by configuring the permission sets of the user account used to integrate with Tofu.

Integrate with HubSpot in Tofu

Go to https://app.tofuhq.com/integrations and follow the steps to add credentials for your HubSpot account

Import Lists from HubSpot

Take the following steps to import a list from HubSpot:

Go to https://app.tofuhq.com/playbook/targets and click New List

Choose to import a Company (a.k.a company property) or a Contact (a.k.a. Contacts property) list

Choose Import from HubSpot

You will see all the lists in your account available. You will also be able to search for a list.

Choose the fields you want to import into Tofu. Make sure to map them to the right data type in Tofu (Text or URL).

Export Tofu Content to HubSpot

Take the following steps to export Tofu content back into HubSpot:

Once you get to the export page in a campaign, choose HubSpot

Select Hubspot from the list of integrations

You will see a page showing Tofu Content Tokens that will create or overwrite custom fields in your HubSpot account.

Content tokens allow you to dynamically populate HubSpot fields with personalized content generated by Tofu for each contact or company.
